Sentencing Document 1973 Case

Originally a capital case in which the prosecutor ruthlessly sought the death penalty, the jury wasn’t buying the state’s arguement and returned a guilty verdict for a lesser included offense — second degree murder.

As you can see from the autopsy report this was clearly the result of an act of self preservation.
